For a standard and flexible cancellation policies please see below. Some residences cancellations terms are different, and where our standard rates does not apply it will be mentioned. Please chat with our advisors to make sure you are aware of the cancellation policy when you book.
Standard and flexible cancellation policies we offer two different rates. If you like to change or cancel any aspect of your stay, a flexible rate is available for purchase at the time of booking. Otherwise standard rates apply. Please note bookings may have a separate cancellation policy in different locations.
Standard rate cancellation policy
For bookings made more than 7 days before guests arrive, we offer a 24-hour period from the time of booking during which you can cancel and receive a full refund.
After the 24-hour period, we refund 50% of the booking value, up to 14 days before guests arrive. If you cancel within 14 days of arrival, the booking is non-refundable.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable.
Flexible rate cancellation policy
Flexible rate cancellation policy available for purchase and bookings less than £10,000
If you selected the flexible rate you can cancel your booking fully, make one partial cancellation, at any point after 40 hours before the start of this day and receive a full refund, less the flexible fee.
Within 40 hours of the start of the stage, we cannot refund the booking.

We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you Depart, and will clean weekly during your stay. More frequent housekeeping services can be arranged on request, subject to availability and an extra charge. (See extra services).
As part of booking with Sloane collection when you arrive, we’ll secure a damages deposit hold on your credit or debit card (see pre – authorisation). The deposit will be released at the end of the stay if no damage is found. If we do find damage, we’ll get in touch with you.

Our housekeeping team traverse London cleaning and preparing homes before and after stays. And more frequent housekeeping services can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge (See Extra services).
You’ll get two sets of keys from your meet and greeter, along with instructions on locking up when you go out.
The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least seven days notice.

Each residence listed with Sloane collection is unique, and belongs to a Sloane Collection owner – whether they live there most of the year or for just a few weeks.

London’s weather is mild and most owners choose not to install air-conditioning. The majority of Sloane collection homes in London do not have a A/C, however between June and September report you may place fans in each residence for your comfort.
Many visitors to London for themselves, hairdryer in hand, searching fruitlessly for the electrical socket in the bathroom. Building regulations prohibit electrical sockets in the bathroom for safety reasons. We’ve provided hair dryers with extra long leads for your convenience.
One of the interesting things that often surprise visitors to London – is that in Britain the word ‘hob’ describes the ‘cooktop’ ‘ stove’ or ‘hotplate’. Most kettles in Britain are electric and need to be plugged via the plastic base never place on the hob.
Because every Sloane Collection residence is unique, we highlight any home truths on the listing and make sure you’re aware of them when you book.
When you arrive you be given a copy of the house rules, these are requests made by the owner that we ask all Guests to adhere to when they’re in property.
For security reasons, we may only show only the approximate location of residence on our website. You will however be provided with the full address (along with detailed directions) once your booking has been confirmed.
Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any Sloane Collection residence.
If you are travelling with young or elderly guests, it’s important to make sure any accessibility needs are discussed with your Sloane Collection advisor before you book. Most Sloane Collection residences in London have a least a few steps, and many have internal stairs without elevators.
When we are preparing a residence for your stay we may seal off some drawers, cupboards and (in some cases) spare rooms, for storing away the homeowners personal belongings. Your meet and greeter will point out these places which are sealed with tamper tape. And we ask that you respect these private areas during your stay. Of course, we’ll make sure that there’s plenty of storage space available for your things.
Your arrival to London
Travelling to an address in the city you’re not familiar with can be daunting. While Sloane collection doesn’t have a hotel front desk or a big flashy sign, we have put a lot of thought and care into making your arrival as seamless as possible. Will meet you at the residence at your convenience any time after 4 PM on your arrival date, and I’ll stand the checkout time is 11am. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance with your Sloane Collection advisor, subject to availability and a charge. At the end of your stay, checking out is simple – you’ll have instructions on locking up and safely depositing keys (you don’t need to meet anyone from our team) and we’ll arrive later in the day to clean and prepare for the next booking.
Will check delete guests I.D and secure a £1000 holding onto matching credit card or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay (see 24 pre-authorisation for more details).
If you are arriving between 12:30 pm to 4pm, you may have the option of dropping your bags at the residence. We’ll arrange for your meet and greet to welcome you, however please be aware that some at home will not be available until check-in at 4 PM. If you arrive in much earlier, or you prefer not to carry your luggage from the airport, we highly recommend using our partners airport. You can find more information here.
One of Meet & Greeters will be at the residence to welcome you. If you’re going to be running late or early, please let us know as soon as you can so that we can reschedule your arrival appointment.
When you arrive we secure a deposit hold on your credit or debit card. The amount is held by your bank until we confirm that no damage was caused during your stay. We will release the hold within five days after your departure, but it can take your bank longer to process the request from the credit or debit card company. If you do damage anything it is always best to let us know before you leave. And once you depart if you find any damage will get in touch immediately.
If you are a guest flying from outside UK, and arriving at one of London’s three main airports (Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted), please be aware that if your flight is long haul, it can take between 1 – 2 hours to clear customs and immigration. If you’re flying short haul, the wait can be up to 60 minutes, depending on the time of day you’re travelling. You can find out more information here.
All three major airports have express train services into the centre of London:
Heathrow Express: this goes direct from the airport into London Paddington station in 15 minutes tickets cost about £20-£25.
Gatwick Express: this goes direct from the airport into London Victoria station in 30 minutes. Tickets cost about £20.
Stansted Express: this goes direct from the airport into London Liverpool Street in 47 minutes. Tickets cost just over £20.
Heathrow is only major London airport on the underground network. All five terminals on the Piccadilly line (the dark blue one), And the journey to Piccadilly Circus takes around 40 to 50 minutes. It’s a cost-effective choice, but not a good option if you have lots of luggage. For more information and tube map see here.
